Residents will also enjoy easy access to existing community amenities at Jerrabomberra including supermarkets, petrol stations, childcare facilities, a post office and medical centre.
South Jerrabomberra is currently approved for 1500 homes.
The balance of South Jerrabomberra may take up to 8 years to complete and will be developed in stages.
Please refer to your 88B instrument if you are in Stages 1A, 1b1 and 1b2 as you may be required to provide you plans to VBC for review prior to lodgment with Council. Your 88B instrument forms part of your sales contract or can be found in the Dropbox provided to you on settlement. If your block is not required for VBC review your plans can go directly to Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council or your Certifier for Assessment, dependent on your approval pathway.
There are a number of lots within South Jerrabomberra that have a Bushfire Attack Level. Once settled on your lot you will apply for a 10.7 Certificate with Council which will list information relevant to your lot including if a BAL is required. The BAL’s are also notated on the Deposited Plan for your stage.
There are no restrictions on reselling your block after settlement, however the home is required to be complete within 4 years from the settlement of your land. A $5,000 bond is payable to Village upon settlement of your block to ensure this condition is adhered to.
Access to South Jerrabomberra is via a Environa drive, connecting onto Tompsitt Drive at Jerrabomberra.
There are established schools in Jerrabomberra and Queanbeyan and a site has been identified for a high school along the entry road, near Tompsitt Drive.
Yes. Deposit Bonds are accepted, they will need to be at 10% of the contract price and be valid for 2 years.
