South Jerra at Tralee Residents BBQ

Our South Jerrabomberra at Tralee residents and friends ‘rocked the night away’ at our community Christmas Barbecue! 🎄🎅🏽

The kids had an absolute blast, receiving a special visit and Christmas treats from Santa and Mrs Claus, meeting other children in the neighbourhood and even getting a chance to try holding the fire engines hoses! 🚒🍭

Our event was an excellent opportunity for new and existing residents to connect and form new friendships over a delicious sausage sizzle and cold drink provided by Queanbeyan City Football Club. 🙌🏽

Thank you to all who came and celebrated with the team and to the Tralee Community Association, we wish you all happy holidays and a happy new year!

Drone etiquette

Many of you might find some technology under your Christmas Tree this year – especially in the form of a Drone.

Just remember with the great fun of owning a drone – there also comes some responsibility.

The governing body for our airspace is the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

CASA has a dedicated page on its website about drone rules that you need to comply with.

On the CASA website they also list CASA-verified drone safety apps that use location-based maps to show where you can and can’t fly your drone according to aviation legislation.

Remember to follow safety guidelines, be mindful of regulations, and most importantly, have fun capturing unique perspectives and experiences from the sky. Happy droning!
